Razorox Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 Ahhh where to start!?!First off Acriku...and no, you dense fool I am not whining because I dont have a credit card, I am stating FACTS that I and most other minors don't possess credit cards, which means they won't be able to play the pay-per-plays. And you must have been smoking up or something to think the regular price for a PC game is $60 US
Acriku Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 Ok, let's get something straight - acting like an idiot isn't going to get you anywhere (you know what parts I'm talking about). And that wasn't flaming...Hmm, strange, I don't see the word credit card in my post at all ??? I said get some money, now there are a few options to go from here. Ask your parents for them to use their credit card and do it, while you give them the money, or another guardian. Or, get a job, get some money, grow up to approved age, and get a credit card and use it. I have an EB at my mall, which I go to every month. I will be taking that 60$ now, because all of the new games there are 59.99$. The older are 39 or 49, and so on. It's an expensive world, I can't help it. And it isn't really smart to ask a question and answer it in the same post (kind of looks stupid, no offence)...Secondly, all gamers won't be trying the ptp concept - only a select that have any interest. Now that select group that might have an interest and know a single thing about the concept, which some don't here might check it out, might not, till I see an actual statistic I won't say much about it.
Gobalopper Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 Ok Soul Reaver so you don't like them charging a monthly fee. So how do you propose they pay the writers and other people who are involved in keeping the game fresh and updated all the time? Some of you seem to think that every game is heading in this direction but never back this up. Look at something like the Sims which seems to always be in the top 10 selling games, those types of games are what developers are looking to produce. Sure "always on" games will interest some people but they aren't going to take over all development.
Razorox Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 Acriku, you were acting like more of an idiot than I, and
Acriku Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 *Wondering when someone will intervene and say stop, hmm not yet I suppose*First off, don't assume what I am implying, because all you were doing is inferring what I wasn't intentionally implying. And this is suppose to be a discussion not a childish argument on useless facts ::)But if I must *sigh*...I would love for those prices (without going online, which is where you got yours most likely )but those aren't the prices at the store in West Oaks mall. Come to the mall and see for yourself. You will finally see the light hallelujah! I won't argue anymore to this childish argument, but please learn that this is a discussion, and learn common sense to not take anything personal.
Razorox Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 HYPOCRACY, HYPOCRACY(you're the one who started this argument anyhow, so take your own advice my friend)...no further commentBTW, the EB in your mall will have the same prices as online unless their is a special sale or promotion. Of course you will abruptly tell me to go visit the mall, because you know darn well I'm not going to, therefore I will never know any way. Maybe you read the prices wrong or something, but I know they are not that expensive. Just admit you made a mistake and I will gladly end this "child discussion." Don't expect me to roll-over for crying out loud...I'm not gonna sit here and whatch you pick apart my comments, without defending myself. yes I realize I am also picking apart yours, but obviously you started this argument, so you asked for it. And I believe my comments were correct while yours were flawed. So just admit you made a mistake and this argument will end abruptly. For some reason I don't believe you will do that, because you're hypocritical and won't take your own advice. In this case I beg you to prove me wrong, because my wrists are tiring from typing all this.
ordos45 Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 Will you stop your childish whining already? Acriku has attempted to politely tell you he doesn't want to argue.
Razorox Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 OMG, who the heck are you, his sidekick or something? HE STARTED, HE WILL END IT. Keep your nose out of places it doesn't belong 8)
