The Ordos also gets a ridiculous advantage if their shields doesn't conduct the Holtzman effect when it get striked by a other laser.

Why doesn't house H and ATR have a sort of suicide laser man who costs little but can take out lazer tanks and APC's in one big kamakazie?

Because that would not happen in the Dune Universe. The Atreides certainly wouldn't be that cruel, and if you read the first book, we are told that that sort of thing is politically a dangerous move. (especially producing them on such a large scale)

Actually, forget thst sensible reason - the REAL reason is either that WW didn't think of it ot that it would be grossly unfair.

I think suicide laser men would be a great addition to the Harkonnen Infantry. Maybe not to the ATR though. You right the price would have to be raised.
