We all agree that saddam was a huge buthole and no body liked him. BUT, what do we tell the tons of other countries just like iraq that we cant help them. Would you blame them if they got suspicious about why we picked iraq and not other countries that are potentially more dangerous.

In every cases USA intervened (drug-war, Middle-East...) there were always US interests. If the gvt really was looking at being humanitarian without looking at all at opportunism, then it'd have one chance outta 2 to act to his disadvantage...

Each time, he moved where there were the biggest advantages... presently, Iraqi are asking US to get out. Will it happen?...

Wow Egeides glad to see you are running the new polling service in Iraq and already know that the majority of Iraqi's want the US to leave.

Zopwx2 Bush is considering more sanctions on Cuba after the recent killings by Castro. Every situation will be different and countries like North Korea and Iran have changed their tone since the war. Even Israel has said they are willing to give up some land and meet with Abbas but we'll see how far that goes.

Indeed, I do Gob ;D

I could say the same about all these people saying Iraqi are happy... When you want my source, ask it and I will happily give it. It's not always worth the effort...

Add to this all the manifestations that occured before and during the war (which by the way were not shown on CNN: "antipatriotic since not supporting the soldiers, extreme.....").

One of those articles didn't say anything about Iraqi's wanting the US to leave and the other just gave examples of places where Iraqi's were either trying to gain power themselves or a few people expressing their thoughts. No where did I read that most of the Iraqi people wanted the US to leave right away. I've seen Iraqi's protesting saying the US should leave but from all that I've read it isn't a majority. We already knew that not everyone would welcome the US, first off the people who Saddam paid the big bucks are going to wish he was still there and there are bound to be extremists who hate the US no matter what they do. Regardless even those links you posted do not show the opinion of the majority of the Iraqi's. If there was I think it would be a little more obvious then what you are pointing out.

Now I can guarantee you that a large majority want the US to leave as soon as possible, after they have helped them restore order and some form of government, but I have yet to see huge numbers saying they want the US out now.

I'll be explicit then: "they ask USA to get out AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, TO NOT STAY GLUED THERE"

And when I say "they", I mean that there are important amount of people on this side. Actually, an Iraqi had written an article on the subject somewheeere.... And what I heard from Iraqi from time to time was "liberate Iraq, then don't let us rule ourselves, don't stay".

About the second link, it was what brang me to say this and wasn't necessarily connected directly. Having such looting problems is one of the reasons some are unhappy in the other article.

On the same way, can you show ther is a majority on the other side? We have no polls from there... I believe what I showed is pretty much the max you get of information. So sources showing a poll saying opposite or anything? :P

Ya, who can we "help" next?! Don't worry, only about a half a million of you will die, because of YOUR evil dictator of course. It will be a democracy some day, I promise. Just look at how Afghanistan is flourishing. Oh ya, one more thing, don't ever elect anyone who tries to kick the US out, cuz they won't last.

All I was saying was.... There are tons of coutries just like Iraq and Afghanistan, but america doesnt have the resources (or even wants to) help every single one overthrough their oppressive govt.
