Using SardElites against Laserttanks....

Is this tactic slightly flawed?

While the sard elite is of course half the price of the laser tank, it also takes quite a bit longer to build.

Observe:

Cost = 350

BuildTime = 689

[orlasertank]

Cost = 700

BuildTime = 432

But what actually matters is the cost,not buildtime but the saying goes,"TIme and tide waits for no man".But the watch company,25 hours, claims that there are 25 hours so which one will you believe ;D

Actually I think buildtime is overall far more important than the cost of a unit, especially if playing on maps with 15k or more starting money.

Yes Sards do take forever to build and that sux. Lucky me, I don't use Sards. tho they do own Lasertanks

but wanna know something really retarded? the enemy is credited with a kill every time the Holtzman effect kills one of your Sards. that's BS. he shouldn't get a kill for that, esp. if your Sard hit the lastank first

I always have problems picking subhouses because

1.Fremen is 1st choice because of their cloaked feds and warriors

2.Enemy against me almost always pick ordos or harkonnen and never build engineers to repair leech infections.

3.But also Sards have the Holtzman effect advantage ::)

I personally always choose Fremen and Sardaukars, but Guild and IX can sometimes be useful too, its just that I don't know how to use them.
