They shut down the game servers for Emperor. Was just playing and it d/c'ed me and wouldn't let me back on. This happened with a few of my other Emp friends so...

Maybe it was only your internet router that was not working

Yes it is possible. I had the case before that all belgian players could not play because an internet router was out of use. And i asked my american buddy and he could play

But it could have been the American server, right? You cant just say that it wasn't a possibility... hell WOL could have even done it on purpose to keep us from playing the Emperor Online Day, doubtful but it could have happened.

Last time they went down for that long period of time, a lot of ppl thought it was down for good. Had they gone to the site http://westwood.com/ they would of gotten that pop-up that told them what was going on and when to expect it back up. I'm sure if it was going to get shut down like that again there would be another notice at the site.
