Uh sorta thinking this MIGHT wanna be in Tech support but err I don't know....

Two questions...

1) Have you tried this before?

2) Is there any error or message saying WHY it won't transfer or does it transfer and it's just not there?

Check the extensions just to make sure. I think WMPlayer can play .wav as well, so it not be .mp3. Your cellular gizmo supports .mp3 right? Also, do any other .mp3 files work by transferring them to the gizmo?

I assume you are reffering to the cellphone when u say gizmo?

well you can transfer any music files to the phone, cos the program always makes the file som file with .lse extension. which again can be transfered to the unit.

Yeah, I didn't remember what it was and didn't wanna scroll down (i.e. move my hands from typing, to the mouse).

Do any files work in transferring to the cell phone, i.e. you can do it now with any other file, and works?

Sounds like you're in bad shape ;D

I was going to reply about how lazy I was but then decided not to, but then by just telling you I was going to is kinda like doing it any way... a bugger... ;)

of course other music files works. I have had the phone for 9 months, and transfered lots of music to it.

Using Windows Media Player? I doubt it. Does your "phone" convert Windows Media format files to mp3 for you? If so, then I think you have a problem with your phone software.

You can't rip audio from a CD into mp3 format using Windows Media Player.

Please read this article for details:

no nothing wrong with phone. but what you said is very likely and explains everything. the phone can only convert wav, wma, mp3 and other common music files. but if not wmp converts files to mp3 then I guess that's the problem
