Dante Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 Seems a bit hasty...Still, I'll get on with what I'm doing...LC forces quickly formed a border around their hard-won territory in Western and South-Western Austrailia. This borders consisted of outposts in a line, held together by tiny thin wires, easily snapped. Whenever one broke, a small force was sent out to examine the breakage. In this way, no land-bound vehicles could pass. Mining and drilling already taking place, avoiding the scene of the battle, where the earth was too burnt to justify energy usage to get past it.Construction of a new base on a LC satalite has been noted, but it's location is unknown... a guard force is also heading for Austrailia...
The_Sadukar Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 a local ED supporter millita mobilises their Cossacks along with a few Palmirs and some 50 taigas.the 80 Cossack laed the assult from the air, and while the air battle ensure the 4 Palmirs and 50 taigas attack from the ground.OK 'nuker you've got your battel, now flip some coins 8)(attacking Dust Scout)
Dante Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Who are you attacking? If it's me then I've been informed that I've won but I'll wait until I'm sure before I write the battle.
Anathema Posted March 30, 2003 Author Posted March 30, 2003 UpdateDust Scout will be gone for the next two weeks, so we'll just pretend that Sards attack didn't happen. I'm updating the recource count based on the input by all factions. Keep posting people :)
IxianMace Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 Ural Mountains:Local time: 0200 hoursFang and his team are staying absolutely still with their lights turned off. ALL base structures have had their lights turned off from the moment the base touched down from the LC orbital station high above the Earth. It begins snowing, and visibility is reduced to a very poor level. The LC base and the LC units are also partially blanketed by a thin layer of snow, making them blend into the surrounding terrain quite nicely."Nightime, heavy snow, poor visibility, excellent camoflauge, no radio activity or transmission, no lights on. Optimal stealth operation conditions" Fang thinks to himself. However his instinct and experience prevent him from being complacent, and he continues to scan the darkness with the sensors on his advanced buggy, ever probing for sings of an impending ED ambush. He watches with satisfaction, as Ore Transports dock noiselessly with the Ore Transport refineries, then lift off just as silently as they came, carrying vital raw materials back to base for Carthasis.NOTE: Since Sir Sard's post was ignored, I am still waiting for 3 more posts from any player of the ED side, in order to see if this stealth operation is a complete success, or if the team is discovered.
