Davidu
OK, so we're a democratic forum, right? So, I have the right to say what bothers me, right? Good.QUOTES! That's what annoys me! You start a topic and the first person that answers quotes what you've written (even if it's 2-3 lines above what he/she wrote). I saw quotes to quotes inside quotes... GOD! This is really stressing!I say that quotes on the first page of any topic should be banned. Also quotes on quotes shoul be banned. If you want to rely to someone, you can write something like this: To X - you e right/wrong... blah, bla bla... etc etc.Or just IM that person. So, I vote FOR banning quotes in the first page of any topic, and quotes on quotes. Seal89999
Yeah Gob dont need other problems and I like quotes. If theres anything gob should work on its the rankings. He said something about adding more and never got around it.
Vanguard3000
I don't think it should be banned per se, but rather it should become an addendum to the great rules of netiquette to try and truncate longer quotes so that the jist of the message is there (so that it's recognizable). For example, if I wanted to quote Sardaukar Elite, I could do this:Yeah Gob dont need other problems and I like quotes...Rather than copy out his entire message. DjCiD
As long as people know how to manage their quotes it's ok, but when there are quotes in quotes in quotes, it does get annoying. Learn how to use quotes properly people. You have been warned. ;D
Davidu
I don't mind a small quote, so I agree with Vanguard. But, as DjCiD said: learn to use quotes.
