This little program has annoyed me for a long time now, the program everytime does something 'illegal', with everytime i mean in 1+ hours, it does NOT shut down, windows will crash after i try to shut it down (CTR + ALT + DEL)

I'd like to know what it is supposed to do.

What happenes or better said, does NOT happen if i tick the little "don't start up" box.

Is it a virus?

How do i remove it if it's harmfull?

I think it is installed with Quicktime? Try uninstalling that.

run msconfig, turn it off under the startup tab i believe

btw. what does quicktime do?

Quicktime is a player for movies. Something like Windows Media Player. But then Quicktime is often used for smaller sized movies. Like trailers. It can show the *.mov movies
