Bush isn't smart; he isn't an imbecile, either. He's about average, if a little less (his grades really are representative of a lack in pretty much everywhere). But the man is not what matters- in the end, he doesn't make the calls, he doesn't plan these things. That's manifestly obvious in his complete failure to demonstrate he understands what he's talking about with his domestic and non-Iraq-related foreign policies. He's just there for charisma- he's the cowboy president, the proletarian monkey of the smart people. His State of the Union showed the world what he's good at- it was a dramatic, emotional speech when he had half a clue what he was going on about, or cared (namely, Iraq)- add some dramatic music and you've got a Hollywood president. However, that was only for a little bit- notice how badly he sucked during, say, anything else. Even he must have realized he was being patronized when he got a standing ovation for every piece of propogandic drivel he stumbled over.

Bush is the best example that there is something wrong with the US. It is obvious that he is controlled. I wonder what will be the end of this transformation that's taking place in the US?

It's the Republican Party. Believing in conspiration theories is a non-sense. Also don't say that Bush is unintelligent. Just media show him like it.

then in my eyes they are doing a good job, when ever he speaks without a prepared speach he sound unintelligent. To me it looks like mr. Rumsfeld and mr. Wolfowitz are controling him.
