Alright gimme a shout from everybody that has this game. Jedi Outcast is an awsome game. Though im in a bind for money now, that is the next game I will purchase. I have played it many times before from a demo and a friends copy. Anybody have any strats for the game. I havent gotten very far yet in the main game. And when do you get your lightsaber and force powers?

it takes a while till you get force powers. I used to know all the special moves and stuff but Ive forgotten them now.

There was the pounce one, the flip over the top swisihing the saber one, the land and spin one and some others.

yeah, well the moves are not so hard to find out, like the wall walk, which is pretty cool, or the spin.

Anyway yeah i have it, and finished it. You don't get the lightsaber +force powers until you've been beaten by Desann for the first time. Then you will go back to luke, grab your old lightsaber and start practicing. Once you got the lightsaber, you will start in Nar Shaddaa

I have a question. What would the best selection of buttons on the keyboard for the force powers??? I find it really hard while in battle to use them without difficulty.

I always used the arrow keys for walking/strafing, so naturally I bound my force powers to the keypad keys. But when it comes to specifics, you'll have to figure out what you're most comfortable with (i.e. what powers you use more often, etc).

Hmm, I just have my mouse wheel cycle them and [CTRL] Use Force Power.

Try to force grip someone (highest level) and while forcegripping, move your mouse upward as fast as possible and stop force grip, this way you can throw a stormtrooper VERY high and over your head, or you could use a stormtrooper to throw him against another storm trooper, killing them both in the process

Personally, I always liked grabbing them in a tight corridor, then bashing them against the walls as if I were ringing a big bell. :D

Also, there's a cheat that lets you use MindTrick to take control of enemies (like when you "drive" the mousebots around, etc). It's really funny if you take over their body, then just jump off something really high. BLAT! ;)

the best force power in singleplayer (take note: single player, not multi) is force speed. It's incredible. I can kill 4 dark jedi's before the first one is on the ground (no kidding). You just walk around their back, and because of your speed they can't follow you fast enough, and cut them, and then up to the next and next. It's realy fun, especially with storm troopers. Mow through an entire army and then turn around and see how they all fall on the ground one after the other

not even Desann is a match for that

Yeah, I liked force speed too. The Bullet-time effect is amazing, and it's a lot more "realistic" than just running faster like in JK. With JK2, it's like your reflexes, etc are also sped up.

Plus, it's fun to saber up an entire room, listening to the sound of about fifteen troopers hit the ground when speed wears off.
