Which games do you think are the biggest rip-offs of all time

IMO the biggest rip off games of all times are Galactic Battlegrounds and Warlords Battlecry2 (For reasons that need not be stated)

it goes in the games section actually.lol but I liked galactic battle grounds. it wasnt amazing but certainly was not a rip off. I would say fleet command. many star trek games have been a rip off though. though some people like them so its just my opinion. Also I think that max payne was too for the hype it had. It was a pretty bad game in my opinion. Also just needlessly sick.

id Software rips all their own games... like Q1, 2 and 3... :P ...

Anyways, I think Dark Colony was a total ripoff from WarCraft 2, actually, some kind of pre-StarCraft game, but with the engine of WC2... heck, WC2 was even better LoL...

well i'm pretty sure this is the biggest ripp off of all games: Rival Realms. It was soooooooooo warcraft II ripp off. play it, and you'll see that you are playing warcraft 2. with a few additions

Yes, I would have to say Galactic Battlegrounds (SWGBG) is a rip-off. It's not that it's a bad game, it's just that it's really only a mod for Age of Empires II (in my opinion). I've got the game (along with Clone Campaigns), but I just feel Age of Empires II fits far better with that graphics engine. I mean, some of the effects in SWGBG are terrible!

Oh, and Max Payne is just Rogue Spear with the slow-mo cheat! :P Even though I've seen many first-person shooters, I don't play any, except for Jedi Outcast at one time, so maybe someone else sees something in the game that I don't.

I'd have to say Gorgon: Humanoids and Orcadons. It's somewhat old and unknown, as it never really came out to the market, but it was a total rip-off of the WarCraft series. They were renamed the Humanoids and the Orcadons, though, and they were *blue* brutes. It was almost exactly the same as wc, except for names and colors ::)
