Westwood was fully licensed to use any Dune name and likeness they wanted. Technically, all of the Games have been made by Westwood on behalf of the Dino DeLaurentis Corp. who produced the 1984 movie of Dune. Read the copyrights.

My question is :

Does anyone think that the Ordos will appear (even in mention) in any of the Legends of Dune books?

frankly, I dont think brian and kevin are corny enough to pull that off. Plus, the herbert crew are not exactly liked by Mcnelly. I think he feels a bit jaded from not being able to compete in the duniverse writing area.

Almost certainly as the main battle tkaes place in Sigma Draconis which is a star system whose 4th planet is...Draconis 4 - the homeworld of Ordos
