Generals impressions

Well, i read the first C&C generals review today, it looks realy good, and they were very positive.

however before you start to cheer, there is also bad news. The system requirements are a P3/Athlon 1 ghz with 128 mb ram and a GF2 32MB. and now comes the even worse part.... Recommended system is a P4 2.0 Ghz with 512 mb of ram and a GF3 64 mb

showoff :P there are people with less than 1 ghz... well ofcourse it's not that bad if you can't play it... i mean it's not the end of the world... it's just a tad sad.

Ah i think it's a mistake though to make those requirements so steep. Some people may not want to try it because their comp will probably hardly run it

well, perhaps. The graphix are good, but not THAT mind blowing. I don't think they are good enough for these sys requirements. However, i will still try it i think... But i'll not buy it, unless it is realy good.

If the sys specs are that high I won't even bother getting it, as the lag will make it damn near inplayable. How come Generals needs such specs while there are games with similar graphics yet lower sys requirements?

Besides, I disliked every C&C since Ra anway.

There are a lot of people who can meet those system requirements, especially anyone who is hardcore into gaming (especially FPSs)...and I for one am probably getting it ;) ;D
