Actually, I don't think the human shields will work, sad to say. There are weapons that can make people sick, weapons that send soundwaves and many other such, to move protesters. Trust me, if there are going to be war, Bush will know how to handle the shield situation.

Then again, how are they going to "shield" the path of the troops? What about helicopters? How come they don't do this in Israel/Palestine, where conflict is now the only way out?

This war is going to be a huge bloodbath. You simply can't take a city without a lot of casualties, and I don't trust Bush enough to think he isn't going to screw up totally.
