Diablo II- need help

Though sorceress is hard to play with at first, she's really powerfull! I take out the big bosses as easy as I snap my fingers using static field 8) (which remove 25% of the hitpoints of the enemies around you regardless if it's diablo, bhaal or a little foul craw. It's weak against monsters with resist, though).

You only need to learn to keep distance from the enemy.

Blood raven is quite hard for necro and sorceress because they don't have good spells yet(just wait and see what fireworks the sorceress can dish up with 8) Hint: Choose lightning spells).

Paladin is also really good(teach him zeal 8)).

But when you have much in Zeal, you can't move when attacking.

Make a online character and try to play on the Europe server. I probably have some stuff for you that you can use and I can help you when ever needed with my heavier characters :)

So, we have Vengeance for bosses... But you can have it activated with aura at once. Fanaticism with Vengeance makes you a juggernaut ;D

Right now I'm in act III. The tomb boss killed me 5 times before I managed to kill him :O

Btw, what is the benefit of having all items of a set?

If you have all items of one set, you'll have a special set bonus. In most cases, you already gain an extra bones if you have 2 items of the same set. If you want to know what those are, check out this site.

It's for the expansion pack though, but the items should be similair, especially the bonus you receive for them.

Well, I have many items that are better than my set-items.

I just changed my set-gothic plate with a better ancient armor.

I tend to find set and yellow-text stuff pertty often I don't know why.

Only 5 times? Not worst for a newbie...

Collect any set item you find. Do not sell them. When you have i.e. armor, ring and sabre from Angelic Raiment set you have also 75% chance of finding magic items. For fighters is nice Cleglaw's Brace, composed by long sword, chain gloves and small shield. 50% deadly strike is nice, but also gives bonus damage and attack based on character's level. And Death's Disguise, hmm, that's cute! War sword, sash and leather gloves, even without sash you will have 25-75 cold damage and 30% increased attack speed! It was so good I had to personalize that sword (altough Ivik's Death Touch is weird :- ).

I don't know why, but I tend to sell the set items I won't get any use of. I could store them on other players though ::)

I had loads of set items. A few I kept, cause they could be of good use. I'm not wearing any set items on my character, but more exeptional unique stuff (gold text). I currently have 4 mule characters (characters created to carry stuff). 1 is almost full with Gems. Another has loads of rings, Amuletes and jewels. The other 2 carry armor, weapons, ect :)

I had some "carrying servants" too, but when I had found Shadowmaster editor it's no problem. Now I have full disc of saved items.

My sorceress can't make use of weapons and such, only armor and jewelry. She has special needs, though.

Does anyone got some good advice for sorceress that I don't know?

Cyborg, what you need depeds on what you are basing you character on. I mean, are you a fire, cold or lightning sorc ? Based on that I would carefully choose my items. I have made a character wish list of items I'm hunting for. And when I have all those items, I have THE caracter of that specific class :) For example, for my Paladin I have found the "Hand of blessed light devine scepter. Obviously a Paladin wanna have weapon.

Make a wish list of items you want to have to make THE Sorc you want. Then it's easy to start a quest for the items and makes things more easy.

My sorceress is lightning based(she got one firespell, warmth, though). What she need is slightly(she already has faster*2) faster run/walk. She also need more armor because of her fragile body(She dies of like 3-5 hits from a really great monstre).

I use to only get the same unique and set items :((isenhart's case, hsaru's boots, arctic sash of some kind and like 4-6 other weapons I don't remember) so I don't know what to look for.

She has the mana and mana regeneration rate she needs thanks to warmth(lvl6 or 8 or something). She would need +life maybe and definately +resistance.

She has a pro because she don't need dexterity or weapons and therefore got a good shield and a good little stick which gives her some +life and +3 to that lightning spell that thunder down on enemies.

i have a lvl 99 sorcerous ... i also downloaded some mods if anyone wants to lvl faster... i have beaten the game with the sorcerous only twice so she is able to play in nightmare games.... i can also find some kool stuff for anyone that is starting a character if u want.

i also have a barbarian that is i tink around 50 or so

and i have a druid which is 20-30 (with some sweet weapons for that low lvl)

really ??? i always thought she was the easiest because they start u out with a fire ball... and if u go into the cave (first thing to do) they have several mana refill pools in there.

I had a lvl 93 Paladin, but deleted that character as I learned which skills to use.

I know have a lvl 87 Amazon (honestly, she can't be beat :D), a lvl 53 Barbarian and a lvl 57 Paladin. For the Paladin and Barbarian I've created a wish list and am currently playing the game to find those items. I'm not trading any items, due to the several cheats that are out there. I might be trading again though as soon as they release the new patch.

If you post that you're playing as well, please post on what server you're playing. You can't transfer characters from 1 server to another unfortunately. I'm playing on the European server.

well unless you have hacked armor (whites or blacks or something) then i bet you my sorcerous can kill her

just to say my sorcerous has a thunder storm that is lvl 130

it strikes most players dead with one hit ;D

(unless they have hacked armor of course)
