I noticed there are not any threads about upcoming or just newly released maps. So here it is, post news about your upcoming maps or maps just made etc...Mods if you could sticky this that'd be great :).

I made a new version of "close encounters V2.0".

Changes made to version 2: bigger buildable area at the fortified island, free passage of the infantry all over the map. More neutral buildings and more spice zones.

Enjoy playing on it...

I just submitted the new emperor map "guild convention" to gob, so it will be available for downloading soon.

The map contains several neutral buildings that can be captured. Obviously it has some guild buildings, but also fremen and sard barracks, a fleshvat and an ix factory.

You can grab all but you will have to endure all enemy fire, especially if you take over a neutral conyard in the map center....

I have made an arakkis emperor map especially for infantry battles. To make it more intresting, there are several neutral buildings ( atr/ordos palace, ordos hangar ... ) that you can capture. The ordos hangar allows you to replace carryalls that have been shot down.

Protect your harvesters as their is no factory to replace them!!

Just watch out when the game starts, ordos mortar infantry can shoot over the fortified walls. Destroying the "barrels" at the bridges will allow you to drive the mcv to the big building zone.

The "infantry challenge" map can also be used for normal battles, but than you would have to use the advanced carryall a lot.

*Just released "infantry challenge V 2.0": i have made the central area bigger and allowed the infantry to pass the tanktraps and tankberms. The mcv starting points have been moved to the middle of the fortified island.

it's called weapons of mass distruction and it's up for downloading YAY! ::) :-*

it's 4 player

arrakis

and half of the map is giedi prime and the other half is arrakis

there are 3 palaces in the middle(one of each house) and there r the 2 mega cannons(ix and guild)

and there is a sardaukar island camp and a fremen island camp ;D

i have a new map out now called ice spice baby

it's a map with arrakis and draconis...

it has 4 rocks on each corner

(4 players obviously)

and it has a piece of ice in the center of the map
