...another religion thread.lol Seriously though this is a big issue. What do you guys think about the conglomeration of various religions? I personally think that it is dangerous and has ties with globalization and the like. I dont like it and obviously it conflicts with my beliefs. What do you guys think though?

God, Allah, Jehova, Mary, Jesus, Moses, Mohammed, whatever. Makes no difference to me. :) Perhaps it'll lead to less squabbling between different religions. Perhaps it'll create more. That's the "beauty" of religion. You never quite know what it'll drive people to do.

Uniting different religions - NO! That's ridiculous. Different religions have nothing to do with each other.

But uniting all Christian denominations - YES! It's about time we let go of our empty hatred and come together as brothers and sisters in Christ!

Why not? It's good to talk about it.

Ecumenism doesn't want to eliminate other religions. It is seeking mutual points to improve relationship between the believers of them. Christianity is the first, trying to make others a friends. We must all find, how a human should live to improve this world.

There are more point of agreement between religions and other denominations than subjects of non-agreement. However we tend to focus more on the difficult issues ....
