I could never figure out why they dissappeared on me (and my friend with a similiar computer) They came back when I formatted my computer this spring, but they suddenly dissappeared even quicker than last time.And my conclusion is that it is the damnable windows updates. Timenn Posted November 4, 2003 Share Posted November 4, 2003 Did you know that cleaning your hard disk really IS a good idea?Go to your hard disk, right click, properties and say clean.If you haven't done that (recently) you might discover that you cannot clean a few Megabyte but you can clean a few Gigabyte! Sorry, I have the Dutch version of Windows ( :() and I know most commands/labels in English as well, except for this one.Now I know.Most of it was compressed files.
