Truth of Mother Teresa

Well, I do admit I haven't read the post Ace was referring to, so that quote might be out of context, as you said...

Wait, now I understand what you're saying. It seems that you and Ace have different ideas on what "pure atheist" actually means, and that's what caused this argument.

So everybody believes in God a little? Please caid, all atheism is, is a lack of belief of god. What is the misunderstanding? It has no effect on morality so drop it. It has no 'if this then that', it's just this.

Atheism is not a relative term. You either believe in a supreme being or you don't. There's not fence. There's no in-between, unless you're talking about agnocism, which is technically neither. You call all "pure atheists" animals, so I assume you mean all atheists. Being one, I naturally took offense. But, of course, the religion double-standard comes into play. If I called all Christians animals I would probably be banned.

When it comes to belief, there is no grey. You are either black or white, atheist or believer.

What are you saying, Caid? Because I am civilised, I am "slightly religious"?]

lol, hardly. that would be a lame reason to ban someone./quote]Well Digital Plasma was banned from the old boards because he made a bigoted Jewish remark about someone...

Those were the WW boards. Over there you could get banned for just about anything, most of all if you said something that put WW in a bad light. ::)

Anyway, what is the point of this discussion? You seem to be arguing on definitions of words and on personal opinions.

Yes, it is told our civilisation is based on ancient greek philosophy, roman state law and christian morale. Don't see anything "bagged" into two groups. Officially you are black or white, but de facto you can have some other race genes in your family line. Same with believing. Christianity isn't just believing in God.
