DukeLeto Posted December 5, 2002 Share Posted December 5, 2002 Hey Nyar!I have an issue with CnC Renegade. Sometimes, without any reason, it just crashes to the desktop. There doesn't seem to be any connection between the times it crashs. There is no lockup, error message, anything. THe screen just turns black for a second and it sends me back to the desktop. I have no mods installed.Here's my DXDiag.And my system specs:1.53 GhZ AMD Athlon 1800+XP processorWindows XP, SP1nVidea GeForce II MX400512 MB DDRAM80 GB Hard Drive SpacePS: I haven't contacted WW yet. zamboe Posted December 6, 2002 Share Posted December 6, 2002 I think I had the same problem with Renegade, meaning it crashes to the desktop and change the resolution at the same time ( i only played that game about 2 weeks), it was solved when I updated the video card drivers. Nyarlathotep Posted December 6, 2002 Share Posted December 6, 2002 If the above suggestions do not help, make sure your ingame settings are set to 800x600 16bit. Detail level should be somewhere in the middle. I've had the same problem and when I lowered my ingame graphical settings they were solved *knocks on wood*.
