America might have one of the best trained troops of the world, but just like in WW2; the germans had very superior weapons and highly trained troops, and "STILL" they got beaten by the allies by the large numbers of soldiers and tanks. High Quantity vs High Quality more likely.

Not to forget, they have to deal with incoming attacks, since they have some bases on the other countries of the world. If you whipe those bases out 25% of America's army would be destroyed.

I doubt 25% is a good percentage, possibly somewhere anything below 10% to 10%. Don't forget the National Guard which is a good number of military personnel fit for "Guard"ing the "Nation". And wiping out bases isn't so easy without an armament of bombs and chemical weapons. A lot of people will die, on both sides, but I don't even know why you are speculating the specifics of all of the countries fighting America since that will never happen...

25% is rediculous. That isnt even close. Besides, American troops would just pull out of those bases, after destroying all the surrounding cities.

The best chance you have is for all of Canada's unarmed citizens and unarmed military to invade a fully armed US citizenry and fully armed military.

SHIP WHAT TO CANADA? CANADA WILL BE OVERRUN IMMEDIATELY. Heck, just the CITIZENS alone of Washington state could take over the entire country of canada. How many guns are actually in canada? LOL. And just HOW are your SHIPS going to ever reach shore? They wont. We have long, long range conventional missles that will annihilate every single ship that enters the water. we will just sit here and kill endlessly every single invasion attempt with ease. There is no way that the US could be overrun. No way at all unless nuclear weapons are used, in which case we would just nuke the entire planet so that the only thing that COULD invade us are cockroaches. If kept to conventional warfare, we will probably not even lose more than 1000 american lives. you wont have a chance.

The world has enough manpower to crush America by sheer weight of numbers. Not to mention that one country's war machine can't compare with the entire world's economical might. They might not have guns NOW, but they sure can build them a hell of a lot faster than you can. This is the entire WORLD we're talking about!

no he is a commie by virtue of his hating the US. You see, the double standard that is exposed in Edric is the following:

Edric doesn't have a problem when someone posts slams and mockeries of the United States. When someone insults the US, when someone insults a capitalist human being from the US, Edric has no problem with it. In fact, Edric might even whole-heartedly support the idea of calling a human being who happens to be capitalist some kind of derranged person. yes, but that manpower CANNOT GET HERE. It can only arrive in "chunks". And each individual "chunk" of that manpower is easily manageable. As one "chunk" makes its way here, we destroy it. Until all "chunks" are destroyed. The US cannot possibly lose a world Vs. US conventional war in which the US is defending itself (i.e. being invaded).

*IF* the US tries to invade the world, only then will the world win. But the world could not possibly invade the US and win. not even remotely.

First of all, owning a gun does not make you half a match for a professional soldier.

The US does have a huge advantage when it comes to equipment- not necessarily on the technological side, but particulary on the quantity. Europe is a military dwarf compared to the US, who seems to enjoy spending its citizens money on toys to boast with. The US spends over 3 times as much as all other NATO countries on weapons, and 4 times as much on weapon research.

The Dutch government is currently deciding wether or not to go for the American Joint Strike Fighter. I'd say we shouldn't, because it will inevitably end up much more expensive then the US says at first. The F 22 were to cost about 50 million dollars. In reality they cost 200 million. THe JFS is expected to turn out 3 times more expensive then projected at this time.
