I need to take a fairy tale story and rewrite it but it still has to be suitable for children. Can anyone help me with it please.

yes, rewrite the story of the three little pigs (if that qualifies enough for a fairy tale), but make it take place in a more modern time.

The three pigs are scientists building boats. One makes a boat out of stone, and the big bad wolf is the sea. the boat sinks of course because stone doesn't float. Another boat could be made out of cardboard. This boat floats for a while, but eventually becomes sogged and sinks. the third boat was made out of wood, and sails away.

and if you really want to get modern, instead of 3 boats, you have 3 computers downloading an X-men cartoon. the first is a 486 DX with a 2400 baud modem. It goes sooo slow and times out and disconnects from its ISP, never able to download the cartoon.

The next computer is a pentium 133 with a 56k (what some people use to play EBFD). It manages to download the cartoon after many hours, but the computer is so old, it cant play it!

the third computer is a Dell Poweredge 8250 Server Farm with each server equipped with 8 Pentium III Xeon processors, 32GB Ram connected directly to an OC192 backbone via optical fiber at 9.6 GBits/sec.

Of course, these computers happily download and play the cartoon with no problems.

Lol emprworm. Btw, what do you mean by the part where you say: 56k (what some people use to play EBFD). Are you implying that this is crap? I mean, I play EBFD on a 56k modem. All the graphics are on high, except the shadows, and texture, which are on medium. The color is on 16-bit. The speed runs fine for me. :)

Special effects deal with your videocard/processor/ram/etc. The actual speed of the game as in lag deals with your modem. You can have a high speed modem but sucky computer (me heh) and not be able to put in shadows, high dynamic lighting, high resolution, etc. And vice versa.

Onto the topic, how's this:

Goldilocks was surfing the dangerous internet when suddenly she came upon an IRC server. She decided to access it and away she went. She typed in /list and brought up 3 channels, each with 3 ChanOps. She entered the first channel, but the topic was too boring. She entered the second channel, but it was too controversial. She entered the last one and it was juuust right. She typed away to the first Op, but it replied with an AFK message. She typed hesitantly at the second Op, but he was wanting to cyber. She almost refused to go on further, but she finally talked to the last Op, and this Op gave her his DCC trigger and she spent all night downloading files. But then the IRC Operator joined the same channel she's in, and sent 50 trojans to her computer and nuked her to hell.

The end.
