Landsraad, the name

I think I know where the name landsraad comes from. probably norwegian(or another scandinavian language). the reason is that the word would mean "country counsil" in english.

Hmmm, Landsraad is dutch from my view. It means council of the country indeed. Land = country, 's' means that 'country' 'owns' something. And raad = council

It's Germanic. Leave it at that. (Note Germanic the language group, not German).

actually the germans don't even call themself germans but deutsch, germanic is the people in germany, scandinavia, and some other countries in middle europe if I'm not mistaken.

You see Timenn, this is the ultimate plot we have to take over the world. Every one has the word and thinks it's his, not noticing the Dutch invluance in all of it.
