You mean how you can import images in your post? You can use the attachment option. But that is not what you mean I think.

open a tag (piece of code) with [ img ] (without spaces) and then type the url of your image. And then close the tag with [ /img ].

If you have no place to put your image on the web, attach it first to your post. The post. And then look at the url of your image (click on the attachment and right click, properties. And then you see the url. And then you can edit your post and put that image in it...

Look at mine example:

Hmm, with right click at the X you can see what url it tries to load:

http://c:/WINDOWS/Desktop/downloads/mijn%20plaatje

Hmm, not quite what you meant I think

Try this url:

http://www.dune2k.com/forum/Attachments/

and put the name of your image behind it (make sure there is '%' symbol in it)(And make sure you attached the image before)

And put the whole url between the [ img ] tags.

That should work

Oh I know why - d'oh. BMP doesn't work well with the Internet - too big. Save it as JPG JPEG PNG GIF or some others and it should be good. If you don't have a good editor you might lose color quality though.

Ken, you have to upload it to the internet, we cannot view anything that is on your harddrive. You can view it on your computer because your browser accesses the picture from the directory chosen, but anywhere else, unless it is on our harddrive in that directory, you cannot view it.
