i dont know if i am allowed to ask but how do you get in .DAT files? for modding porposes... and .LGp also i think..

oh, i didn't know anything was stored in .dat files for emperor.

Its not for emperor, its a little project i am going to attempt but i need to find out how to get in dat files. i am not going to publish my mod until i know i can do it...

What do you mean it's not for emperor? If you just want to create a DAT file, you can do so using the notepad...

ARe there a standard or are all different... IF there is a standard this could be a project worth doing...

well there are .dat files, and there are .lgp.. its not an emperor game. i am gonna try and mod a new game but i am keeping it under wraps right now.
