How to convert .jpe to .jpg?

I have a JPEG file that I need to post but I can't post it on this site because it's a .jpe file and to post on this site it needs to be a .jpg file. How can I convert this?

If you haven't opened it yet, you could try renaming the file by simply adding a 'g'to the end of the file name (i.e. .jpe to .jpeg) but it may not work...

Otherwise, there is a program called PicAview. It can convert .bmp to .jpeg/.jpg etc, etc, and other various other formats. I find it quite useful. If you want it, e-mail me and I'll send it to you as soon as possible. My e-mail is in my profile. ;)

Thanks Ix I found that program on the 'net after you mentioned it, it did the job. Most useful. Not too fond of the 45 day trial but hey, I don't think it will be too much of an "issue" 8)

actually i think u can lock or deleted it too ;D something i wasnt acuustom to at the old forums. ;D you make the thread u can lock it. now if u delete ur first response all others will go to right? (anyone know or does a mod need to answer)
