Probably people who searched for something dune related and then clicked a link that brought them here. Or they have precache enabled and it auto loads pages for them when searching in case they click on the link.

 

Could be bots. Some webcrawlers as well.

Luckily the bots can't register, I used to be part of a Forum every day we'd get Bots signing up.

 

It was sad too because they where more regular then real members.

Oh, the bots do register. But their posts are not visible to regular users unless approved by someone from the forum staff.
