Well here's a good news to all dune 2000 fans.....

The dune2k-mod is setting the release date of the new mod codenamed the emperor mod on april 21st.....

This date might change if there is any lag in the creation......

imperial marcenaries house replaced ordos...

replaced old units, list below:

raider - flame tank

grenadier - harbinger tank

deviator - scorpion tank

stelth raider - imperial combat tank

quad - combat tank

combat tank - special tank

fremen - sniper fremen

maps for 9 atriedes missions complete...

maps for 9 imperial mercenaries complete...

mission file for 9 imperial mercenaries complete...

mission file for 3 atriedes complete...

ion cannon ready...

work pending:

mission file for 6 atriedes...

mission file for 9 sardukar...

new sprites for modified units...

units to change:

thumper - Sardukar tank

sabetaur - Sardukar trooper

need to configure Sardukar academy...

new mission videos...

new graphical user interface...

imperial mercenary new voice...

tutorial video...

That's it for now and any future updates will be overwritten in this post....

Well from april 8th i'm doing full day job on the mod and if i'm right i might finish enough stuff for a demo release...

After 22nd march my school year ends hence a whole load of time...

First bug test :

11 errors in maps 1 2 3 4 5 6 8 of the Imperial Mercenaries....

Spice problems are the major error...

Map 5 was too easy...

(playtested by Shadoken)

Map 1 has factual error with another two maps needs replacement...

Updtae :

Atriedies map & mission 4 complete...

All missions are complete and only bug test for sardaukar remains...

Today i'm taking a well deserved break from modding...

There might be a delay in the release of demo due to lag in some areas of modding...

Just did a playtest on missions 1

to 5 in sardaukar and finished

them in approx 2 hours...

The

missions 1 2 4 are tough mission

3 6 is easy and mission 5 7 8 9 is

medium difficulty...

Missions

onwards mission 6 need minor

tweeking...

Seems like it'll be a

good mod but that decision lies

with you guys...
