when i downloaded the map maker it made a file called

298.file

what is it? I don't want to wait 2hrs again!!

perhaps he aborted downloading the map-editor.

try renaming it to .exe instead of .file. Maybe for some reason it didn't read the extension.

No it didn't work but I downloaded it again and it

works ;D

But when I downloaded TibEd it made a .file called 469

??? ???

What download maneger do you have?

Download Accelerator, can make strange names at files?

If you use IE or NetS Nav. Maby its a worm or virus?

Try to scan with anti virus scanner

The same hing happened to me when i downloaded WormsHL a Half-Life Mod it was called 3241.(just a file)

Get Ad-Aware to get rid of spyware (free things on internet are almost always spyware), and disable DAP
