mod program

does anyone know where to get a good mod program for emp. i tried looking but couldnt find one

try tibed or dune mod creator, both found at dune editing.

Or wordpad. Best moding program ive seen. And far more options then those other two. Whoever made this was well ahead of their time in Moding.

i agree, i never use either for my mod, i always use wordpad. I used to use notepad, but it would screw up the format or run out of free memory(space).

I know, with the Artini file right? It was so annoying. So I switched to wordpad to, it seems well. I think it could go far.

yeah, with the artini, such a pain in the butt. You go to add a unit, and you loose the changes you made. Those were the days when I had no clue what I was doing...

same with me. Then I remembered how to change the opens with option to always wordpad. Before that, I always had to open the Rules file,

Then open the Art file inside it. So much has changed.

Yes, he could. I am currently trying to Modify WordPad a bit to suit our needs.

how are you modding wordpad? There's also another editor that is also really good called editplus, I've only used it once, but it seemed ok. Tried to attach it, but it came up with some error message about it overloading the attachments directory.

Damn, sorry, I used the attatchments directory to send Edric some texture files. It should be ok. What we need is skip-to-entry function: like MS word Document outline, only an automatic one that works by finding square brackets.

I just use ctrl+F then enter [Mino to find the mino for example.

so how are you modding wordpad Jacob?

Just changing it to things like ModMaker and adding things able to search easier for certain entrys.

I am doing it with NoteTab light now. It will hopefully give you the ability to just click on a side bar for like TurretAttach = and then click on a side bar from all the turretattaches.

I found out you can make new library entries without modding it. So I will give people these librarys I make, if they have the Program. The one I am making now is for turret attaches.

i just downloaded it last night. That's a pretty good program over wordpad and notepad. And the search is better to, more options.
