Yes, but also they were writing some good strategies. Every one has its favoutites, what's wrong? I think you're angry, that no one plays Harkonnen. I want new Sardaukar strategies, not your preaching.

Look if you want to continue about the Sardaukar strategy then do so. But if you keep yelling why the topic was closed then this one is closed too.

Ugh, that REALLY wasn't necessary mod...but ah well.

Anyone succesfully managed to lead a sardaukar charge protected by some vehicles protecting against mass buzzsaws/flametanks or the likes? IE a formation where for example tanks are 1-2 squares ahead of the sardaukar so they cant be run over or the like.I tried this in Dune2k but was unsuccesfull...I suck at micromanaging. The nme could either slip a tank through the line, or the tanks got wasted too fast for being in front, or the whole formation just fell apart.

Depends on numbers. Also Elites are more maneuverable. You should try combinations with kindjals in small groups, for Harkonnens some aircraft.

In that case, the 'move in formation' command is your friend.  Hold down J while clicking a destination; the mob will advance in formation at the speed of the slowest unit.

I like computer attacks, when all buzzsaws are slowed by devastators. Normal Sardaukars with lack of maneuverability after fire are very good against these formations.

AI doesn't it. They're just marching straight to death. Problem is just on WOL, were every Harkonnen builts about 60 buzzsaws, and if it won't crash, he'll destroy every spice.
