That's where deviators come in. Once the Minos have fired elsewhere, a few micromanaged deviators can soon get a large group to wreak itself with the Mino splash damage. Fedaykins can systematically erase a large Mino group due to their stealth, provided they get the distraction required before each volley.

Minos hage more range and a little more armor, but once the sonics are in range,  2 or 3 minos will fall to each "perfect strike."

yeah.... but probably the sonic would not be able to come that close....

Minos are only okay against vehicals, so the sonic would get at least one shot of and kill at least about 2 minos.

And the Sonic Tank would have drawn Mino fire to itself as it gets destroyed - another opportunity for Laser Tanks and Deviators (or perhaps even Advanced Carryalls if there is no Anti-Air cover for the Minos).

Sonics have as much armor as an inkvine.  Well, I think they do.  I'll test that as soon as I can.

Sonics also have a way stronger attack.

yeah... but sonics have lesser range and are more expensive

But once they get a couple spaces closer, nothing can stand in their way.

yeah.... sonics are indeed very powerful... they only need a lot of micro management to use them realy succesfully... especially cuz of their friendly damage..... i once put 3 sonic tanks near each other and scrolled back to my base just to get a damn leach of my harvester when i heard unit lost..... i return to my sonics.... and what do i see...  a laser tank racing by and my sonics were so nice to kill each other
