I was having a problem with my game crashing every time a game was over. I uninstalled and than re-installed. Now when I go online I don't get the prompt to upgrade to version 1.09. I am stuck on 1.04, anyone know how I can fix this?

Download the patch from this page. There are different language options, so I will give you the page URL instead of a direct link.

Just download it and run it, if my memory is correct.

Also, I reckons that the reason you cannot download the patch automatically is because you used the XWIS tool and it is "Set". So you are trying to connect to XWIS to get the 1.9 patch (I doubt XWIS can do this, so thats why its not working). Try running the tool, and clicking "Reset". Then connect and it should get the patch.

I would appreciate it if you could try that first, as it might help with working out whats gone wrong.

It can, but it doesn't have patches for all games and language versions.

Ok Mr Olaf, thanks for that. So it can do it, but it doesnt have the 1.9 patch for empror ? Well, maybe if you can, it would be a good idea to put it there because WOL is down, XWIS might become the first online server used by some people and they may need the patch.

If you cannot (bandwidth or whatever reason) I hope people will come to this site and download it from here.

Thanks for that Kalem. It seems XWIS site is down for some reason.

This download will be archived by O GReat Gob soon, but by then hopefully XWIS will be up again.
