Taking enemy's capital

If I conquer the enemy's capital on Arrakis, what happens to their other territories. Do I still have to conquer them?

No, you don't. As soon as you've conquered the capitol province on Arrakis of another house, you'll be sent off-planet to attack that House's home planet. So if you conquered the Atreides' capitol, you'll be leading an invasion of Caladan.

After that...find out yourself ;)

I always try to take every territory before taking the capital, just to prolong the game.

sure, every map is a part of the game and have its own adventure,,

and story,, even music,, its a shame not to play it ..

if you take a short cut into enemy capital you lose

60% of the game ..

Personally I liked to hang out just outside the capital, so that they knew I'd be coming in, and was more than able to, but conquered the rest of the planet first in order to give them time to squirm.

Because even pixels can be abused.

I wouldn't shorten the game if I take the Harkonnen capital after taking all of their other lands, before turning to the Atreides?

Much to my own disappointment, it is not possible to take both enemy capitals. Just one of them.

Personally i save prior to taking a capital, then i can take both.  ;)

Only annoying thing is when sandstorms prevent you taking last sector prior to taking a capital.

Shame. But I'll be playing as all three houses so at different times I'll be able to take all three.
