Just a comment on your choice of videocard. I would go for the nVidia GeForce 8800 GT instead. It is cheaper than the GTS and actually performs slightly better on average, according to some comparisons made. I recently bought that card myself, and I love it.

Yea, I just am not shelling out 2 or 300 bucks for a vid card when others can do as much or close to it at much much lower prices. Not to mention it is a power sucking hog also. But if you can afford it then go for it. Same applies to CPU's also.

I really want to try this chip out http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103191 just spent alot for upgrades and couldn't afford it right now.But damn, says it overclocks stable at 3.8 gigs and totally unlocked...which is the way all chips should be IMO.  ;D

you mean the new pc will make me pay a lot of electricity bills ? i mean haw bad is that?

like a tv for ex ? or an air condition ?

No, it would mean a very unstable system for starters. Crashes, lockups etc.or maybe not even boot up at all with an insufficient PSU.Or something like this after you boot up into windows  http://www.evga.com/forums/upfiles/416955/0FFEDAB8366E4BBEB62877404A5ADDAD.jpg The electric bill I wouldn't worry about.

I have a 6600GT, by the way.

Speaking of 9600.This will be my next card upgrade without a doubt hopefully within a months time or so.I'm just gonna by-pass the 8800 altogether. The prices for it are just rediculous.

oh... the 9 series is out lol .... is it better than the 8 series ? haw come the 9600

is much cheaper ? and why you didnt get now scar instead of paying for a card that

you will replace in few months ..

i like this one a lot lol

The one I just got will become a spare card. Also I could not afford to get That 9600 one I want yet,I have to save a little before I can  because I want that PSU with it also. If you looked at the specs on the 35 dollar card i'm getting, it is not a bad little card at all considering that now I watch DVD's more than I play games.i'm running a 7600GT at the moment and it kicks ass with this monitor. So actually I will have 2 spare cards. The only reason that card i'm getting looks small is because it is a low profile card.

This is a conclusion from Nvidia's reviews on the site on the 8600 and the 9600.

"Conclusion

Simply put, the 9600 GT is one hell of a card. Less than a year after it launched the 8600 GTS, NVIDIA has created a card that surpasses its predecessor in every way. The 9600 GT's 512MB of RAM and impressive performance could make it the must-have option in the $169-$189 space

i dont understand anything his talking about 8600 not the 8800  why is the new card so

much cheaper almost 1/2 price of the 8800 gts ?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150261

isnt supposed to be higher and newer and more expensive ? am confused

which one i should get?!  in a simple word which one of the above is better?

and if its the 9600 gt is better haw come its half price? it dosnt make sense!!

Damn you make things complicated. :P  Who cares why the 9600 is cheaper, the fact is that right now it is.It's also a newer family of graphic processors,Geforce 9 series. The bigger the price does not make it a better card nor does a bigger looking card make it better one.Other than that compare the 2 cards' specs and do the math on what and why you need a particular video card. Just for games? or doing other things, or both altogether. For example the card I just bought for 35 dollars the Gforce

8400 GS/256 I know is gonna to kick ass for what I use my PC for now which is mainly DVD burning and

watching movies as well as games sometimes.I mean for that price it's a steal that i'm not gonna pass up right now.Just like The 2 x 1gig kit of DDR2 800 gaming memory I bought for only 40 dollars is a steal for that price. With lifetime warranty, heat spreaders and great quality.

For me personally I buy my video cards after I have built the rest of my system meaning I pick out my card last to fit the rest of my system specs and not the other way around. But that's just me, I tend to pick out my beef first before getting my vegetables.

i cant buy from the net not only new egg because i dont have a credit card and no one will

send to egypt and even if they do they will charge taxes ..

but those brands are famous and i can find them in the market not like the rare deals you dig

on new egg .. i mean every hard ware shop will know what is a raptor  hdd . it dont have

to be the same model but i will get somethings near to it .. if i find them ...

and i dont have much faith in that ..

Thumper i asked scar the same thing and he said that raptors are much faster if you are

not looking for space and honestly i dont plan to install 20 games with 10 gig per game

so i wont need all that space and i prefer some speed

getting a retarded 6200 for a 100 $ lol

i have my doubts that i will be able to integrate  this computer in this market

but i had fun to virtually build it .. lol and it didnt cost me anything
