Andrew
I notice now when I watch DVDs there is no voice sound. Most other sounds are loud enough, but the voices are very quiet. Usually this is fixed by increasing wav balance, but I have that 1/2 way up and voices are still very quiet. This happens with my dune dvds and other dvds. I tried some mpegs and they seem to be fine.It occurs using media player classic (k-lite mega codec pack) and windows media player.VLC player seems to play dvd fine. Must be a codec thing.I think my dvd player in computer is a bit slow anyway (very choppy video now for some reason).
erjin999
Sounds like an equaliser, if other sounds are loud enough, must be the voice frequencies are toned down.
Cybopache
If it`s not the eq issue, try to check your settings in the sound option for your DVD player,or in options fir each film. Did you understand anything of this? heheI had similar problems and changed the settings for my speakers.cybo
Cyborg
It could very well be a codec problem. See if you have a codec control panel where you can fix things.
