I notice now when I watch DVDs there is no voice sound. Most other sounds are loud enough, but the voices are very quiet. Usually this is fixed by increasing wav balance, but I have that 1/2 way up and voices are still very quiet.

This happens with my dune dvds and other dvds. I tried some mpegs and they seem to be fine.

It occurs using media player classic (k-lite mega codec pack) and windows media player.

VLC player seems to play dvd fine. Must be a codec thing.

I think my dvd player in computer is a bit slow anyway (very choppy video now for some reason).

If  it`s not the eq issue, try to check your settings in the sound option for your DVD player,or in options fir each film. Did you understand anything of this? hehe

I had similar problems and changed the settings for my speakers.
