Guest Dicer
I think that the real problem with Dune 2k is that is just a remake of Dune 2. Dont get me wrong, I LOVED Dune 2, the first RTS game I ever played. But whenI knew there was a new Dune RTS game coming I thought it would be different from Dune 2 in some things. Of course it would be set in Dune and have thingsfrom the setting, but I thought it would have a lot of new units and it the houses in the game would be really different. When we play Dune 2 we KNOW it wasthe first RTS game, because it has three "races" but very few different units. Look at Red Alert or Starcraft, they have different "races" with some similarunits but many (in starcraft all of them) different. garth
What book is Dyvetz, Terkillian Sor, Mutelli, Canidar, and Miche from?
Mahdi
House Atreides, and Mutelli is mentioned in too.And I forgot in other groups:Ginaz (a small, expensive, highly selective military school)
hellsmaw
I think the new dune needs to be more technologically advanced. dune 2000 seemed like a repetition of C&C:RA, just without as many sold copies. they also need more resources. i know spice was all-important, but what about water? garth
Oops forgot about HA. That must be the part where young Shaddam is walking down a corridor on Kaitain looking at the different crests of all the houses and thinking how hes being forced to memorize all of them. joslein
I reloaded Dune 2000 back onto my computer and I tried to play it but I ended up deleting it again. I can not wait until Dune 3000.
Edric O
The novels don't fit with an RTS game, so WW had to make up stuff. And by the way... THE ORDOS SHOULD STAY!!!

Guest brine
if any of you saw the movie you would see that the ordos are in it but nameless they are the ones who escort that turd in the case around.thanks thats all i need to say
mechadragon
No offense brine, but maybe you should see the movie. The guys who escort that "turd" around were other members of the spacing guild, they just were not as developed (read mutated) as the 2000 year old navigator.
