I think westwood is creating Dune 3000 in secret like they did with Red Alert 2. I think it was six months or so they kept Red Alert 2 secret.

I reloaded Dune 2000 back onto my computer and I tried to play it but I ended up deleting it again. I can not wait until Dune 3000.

I like to bring 1 fremen into a base and scout it. I like doing sneaky things with fremen. Some people say they suck but when you use them properly they are great. Thats a good tactic with the 4 Fremen I will remember that one. I like to bring in a whole load of them into a base a waste their construction yard. Of course you have to watch for turrets. Fremen are also great for mopping up weak vehicles like trikes and Quads.

Good idea with the dogfighting. But why not have light Ornithopters with Lasguns but not shields because that might make them slower.

The Fremen are great infantry units in Dune 2000. You can use them to take out harvesters. Also if you are play against the AI in a practice mission once you waste the enemies harvester they send some tanks, trikes and Quads for protection then you can hit them with an Airstike while they are all bunched up. Just watch out for Missile tanks.

I played Dune 2 at my friends house. I usually just play as the Atreides or Ordos since they are the best sides. I cant really remember any Ordos missione with the Fremen in it.

I hope we can control Ornithopters in this conversion. Also everyone should be able to build Ornithopters. They should be armed with Lasguns and be very effective against tanks. I hope they put the Ordos in since it is a neat side because they have Saboteurs. Is there a way to make the wings flap in the TS conversion?

Oh I see, I tried looking in the files myself with RAMIXER but it didnt work. I got that editor program now my Ornithopters can pound tanks into the ground. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! How do I get a quote to appear when I post a message?

I hope they are controllable like the Mig in Red Alert. They should have like a Light Ornithopter that is armed with a Lasgun and can shoot at other aircraft, tanks and be able to scout the map. A medium Ornithopter armed with battle field support rockets and a Heavy ornithopter that can carry troops around. I hated in Dune 2k when you would choose an airstrike and by the time the Ornithopters come to the airstrike location the tanks could have moved.

Are there any unit editors out where you can create new graphics and units?
