i was wondering about new topics

Why is it that i can go to the very back pages of the forums, and find topics that are considered new, yet are over 120 days old, that doesnt make much sense to me lol. Maybe im just not thinking on same level as forum makers? (p.s. Absolutly no insult intended, im just curios as to why obviously old forums are considered new)

depends on the last post date, not on the topic start date. ;)

I also have a lot of "new" marked topics on myn pages back. this is because I never read them or I read them once, was maybe even part of the discussion but then decided at a certain point to not read it anymore... but somebody else still posted and so it was marked as "new" for me... an still is, because I never read that "new" answer since it was posted - and that could even be 120 days ago...
