is it worth trying to find a replacement disk?

one of my cd disk cracked in the middle of game play ,is it worth contacting EA westwood who ever and trying to get a replacement ? do they even make the game anymore? i dont think they do,its the Atreides disk too and its my fav,  :-

i thought as much oh well thanks anyway , no cd patch ,well i would use it  but u see i got robbed they took my old computer and now i have a new less desirable replace thanks to the insurance company,which i am now reinstalling half the things that i losted,so i guess i will have to get the nocd patch ,but it will stil leave me short of playing the Atreides missions wont it?  but thanks for the info anyway and have a good day ;)

yup u cant play the campaigns :S with sound and movies.

get a new version on ebay for a few bucks if you really want all the discs. it's the easiest and fastest way. I had to pay more money for postage fee than for the game itself when I wanted an english version (I only had a german version until then)...  ::)

You can, but you need to follow the full instructions to do that, and that involves copying everything to HD. May as well make 4 nice images and let Daemon Tools do the rest, eh ?

NoCD is fine for playing online though !

cool thanks for the info its all good now  :)  So now all i need to do now is stop my idiot flatmate unplugging me at night so he can download his crap faster how much porn can one man collect is beyond me :-  then i can play online......by the way anyone who plays bf2 ever play on any New Zealand servers ?
