I know that i am very controversial... and it gets hot sometimes... but to be honest i appreciate you guys because conflict actually expands the mind.  A long long long time ago Ords45 told me about an all christian forum... and i went there.. but to tell you there truth.... it was boring.  I mean they did not allow anyone to post any anti-christian material.  To me that sorta stifles the debate.  Sure it feels good to be among comrades there... but it doesnt force me to get to know my faith better.  The only thing that irks me about this forum is that the non-christians seem to band together pretty well (as well as outnumbering us 100 to 1) and i usually am the only guy holding up one side while all the other people with similar beliefs to mine sit on the sidelines and watch me bare the load (although i have been taming my "Tireless rebuter" tendencies).  But all in all its pretty cool to have you guys to duke it out with.  I know TMA did a post like this along time ago, and i guess i feel the same way.

As long as the duking stays in this thread (i.e. nothing personal coming out of it), which it has to my knowledge, it can be so much of use to us all. It hones our arguments, educates us on the other side's arguments, and is even a fun pastime. So, I appreciate you as well Gunwounds.  :D

We came to this forum/site because we are DUNE fans. Think of the way that FH sees religion. So, here we came, all the people that saw things life FH did. That's why there are so many "infidels"  ;D here.

It is very good that you can constantly defend your point of view.

I can't debate religion too well, so I'm better off watching. Real interesting though, and really expands the mind a lot. After all, debates are always fun, especially when you know the issue at hand, and you're in an actual debate, speaking and stuff. Fabulous. 8)

Have to agree with Gunner154 here, I also am no religion debater. It would be like me arguing about Communism with Edric-O.  ;) However, I enjoy the topic and reading the debates on the topic always.

And Gun, I have read a few so-called open Christian forums in the past. But most of them had this pre-set logic to thier forum visitors that always pissed me off. Most of these types of forums should have a little disclaimer that says,"The place were everyone is someone, free to post anything,BUT JESUS IS LORD!!!!".
