Evolution.

What did we come from? And do you have any signifagnat proof?

What will we become? And why do you think so?

Tottaly out of the box questions, but if people can give legitimite reasons on the topic of time travel, I know magic can happen.

I would allow a God creating the means for which evolution to occur more than evolution not happening at all. Evolution is as founded as the Earth revolving around the Sun. The people against evolution are much like the people against the Earth revolving around the Sun back a ways.

You don't seem to appreciate that two of the replies so far have been from athiests. I don't know about Andrew, but he wasn't exactly supportive of the biblical dinosaur theory.

Having said that, there are any number of answers to those questions. Among them are claiming that it isn't mean in a physical sense, that we are only mortal and therefore can't see anything, that heaven and hell are beyond clouds and dirt... I don't believe any of these, but you get the point.

I think the question to begin with, in this matter, is if you believe in "more" than what you can see (i.e. God, the soul, etc), or if you believe scientific proof. You could as well mix the two... in a way.

If you believe there is something more than just material and flesh, then there are many possibilities. It could be a god who created everything, or maybe we are reborn for some reason. Maybe we "join" some kind of "oversoul" or "force" when we die, for some reason.

Or, one could believe that humans just happens to be here, by plain luck. Evolution gives whatever comes as long as we live, maybe for no reason at all.

But if you ask me, then I don't believe that time and space "just happened" out of nothing. I believe there is something more to it - then, if it is God, or some "oversoul" I don't know. I believe this is up to everyone to decide.

Andrew... most christians believe that the flood is what drowned the dinosaurs and buried them and carved out alot of the earth's surface like the grand canyon... nobody thinks Noah put dinosaurs on the ark.

The link I provided said that Noah put dinosaurs on the ark. That is what I was attacking.

I was not attacking the noahs ark story (as I beleive it "could" be partially true, but definitely not fully)

Saldy carbon dating puts dinosaurs much past 6000(or whenever noahs ark occured) years, so I'm not sure how they all died in a flood. Unless carbon dating is a lie.

carbon dating is inaccurate for certain materials and very inaccurate when the materials being tested are less than a certain age....giving wild results.

Umma Kynes ...please read the old evolutions threads on this forum.. alot of work and effort was put into typing the posts in those old threads and tons of good info is there... most of the key posters dont have the time nor the desire to retype all that stuff over again when its right there in another thread.

Even what you've described is rediculous. I didn't know there were people who actually believe Noah's Ark really happened. And carbon dating might be inaccurate for certain results, but it's very reliable and companied with geological formations, it's pretty clear that dinosaurs are NOT 6000 years old.
