The people who originally owned the domain dune2k.com gave it to me after they didn't like the game.

Is that why there was the old fed2k skin as an option for ages? And when you say gave, do you mean for free?

The old FED2k skin was just the colors from another layout we used to have.

I didn't have to pay anything to gain ownership of the domain but I do still have to pay the yearly fee for renewal.
