Ps2 Online?

For Christmas, I was considering getting a network adaptor to play online with other people. I want to know a couple things before I set my mind on it:

a.) Does anyone here play on it?

b.) Is the multiplayer fun? Is it just like playing on the computer?

c.) I was looking at the Everquest Online games for Ps2 online, how are they? (Warhammer 40,000 Online caught my eye, too.  :))

d.) Does it cost monthly?

a.) Nope, but I have done.

b.) Nothing special, bugs and glitches are plenty cos they cant release patches like they can PC games. Random disconnections here and there.

c.) Dunno bout that. :-

d.) Nope.

Xbox has a method of downloading patches, and does it when necessary. PS2 has no excuse!

Yes but some of us have more sense than to buy one of those stupid x-boxes. :P

It probably saves the patches to its fridge-of-a-hard-drive.

I don't really think I want to go buy a whole xbox + pay monthly for online, when I could just buy a 36.00 USD adapter and that's the end of it.

You don't need to pay for it to go online with an X-box, there are plenty of illegal servers you can join.
