Xwis trouble

Did you actually get a game running? Or did u just log onto XWIS? We have been able to log on, get into lobby, and set up games all along, but when you hit play it goes to the connection screen then nothing or a crash.

Check the link a few posts above, its working. As far as I know, its working for most of us.

I played a few games with ra, scar got involved, dav333 was there...so were a few more. So its ok now, it seems.

Yes i have tried many times over with just 2 players. It just locks up with the music playing in the background

try it yourself Olaf it doesnt work at Wol or Xwis

The last game sucesfully completed before the trouble was at 2004-11-06 18:33:39. The problem basically was that a game could be hosted, joined and started as normal. At this point, where the screen would say "Connecting" the game would freeze.

I had to kill the process, as the usual pressing the Windows key never worked. I tried this on XWIS only, but it was reported that this was also happening on WOL and Ords server too. I did try it 1 vs 1 as well.

If there is anything else you need to know just shout.

I tried a 6 person game today and got the "connection screen of death" then tried a 2 person game and after a few moments it did connect!!!  We played the game successfully. At first it looked as though I might actually win but then the tide of war turned against me and I suffered an ugly death..... :P

we played last night  6 ppl games 4 ppl and 2 ppl games without any problems, so it seems like that its working aghain...*ggg*

It may be a little more than just a connection problem. I just went online and my buddy list has disappeared. Anyone else have that happen to them? Going to try and get a game anyway...

yea I joined deserts game aswell and I salso lost my list of buddies. Damn I cant remember anyone now. Desertway do I know u?  :'(

Thats creating job security that is ! Make a task so complex that you become indisposable because you are the only one who can do it ! hehe, joking !!  ;D

Yeah, I figure there isnt much in the way of coding or database stuff that we can help. Oh well, if there is ever anything you can think of...
