hey!

ive got a problem! my homepage always skips to a searchweb2 homepage and there a search web 2 search bar!

i tried adaware,spybot,stinger,etc...nothing helped

i hope u can help me! if u need a hijack log file then ill post it!

plz help me

Make sure have updated Adaware's definitions and try again.

i did i already update to SE version and updated all definitions

Format and re-install Windows. Some of these things are almost impossible to get rid of.

well i first want to try it different...a friend told me that he had kinda the same problem and he just posted a hijack this log or an adaware log on a forum and ppl told him what to do...

but u think theres no way?

There will always be traces of what ever it is that corrupted your pc.

Let me put it differently, if I were you, I'd reformat and get a fresh install.

Don't forget to backup any critical files that you have created!

Like word documents (essays for school/work), images, any files that you will deem useful in the future.

Then a complete format will make your computer purrrr with speed. And fix any problems with software.

I currently have two previous versions of my bookmarks on my computer atm. So I currently have 3 favourites atm. I havn't forgotten them since I got my new computer. :D

And try hijackthis

use regedit to search your registry for the startpage. . . if you find it delete te value....
