Total Lunar Eclipse

Anyone catch that lunar eclipse last night? Awesome! I had the telescope out for about 3 hours of it. It was very cool to watch. It will be the last one we have until 2007.

i saw it... thought it was a sign that the red sox were going to win... and they did.  now if kerry wins president, hell will freeze over and it will be the apocolipse.

I got a few good hours in before the clouds ruined it for me. Looking through my telescope I was able to sit and actually see the shadow moving slowly over the moons surface. It was really neat to think about why it was happening.

I even woke up at 5th hour to see it, but couldn't find it on the sky. Perhaps it was already fully eclipsed  ;D

It never went completly dark from what I saw. It went dark and not far behind where the dark line was moving it was turning an oarnge color.

to me it looked blood red... we were very lucky because there were clouds all around it but it was clear :)

I saw it. It was so so beautiful. I loved when it finally totally eclipsed. It looked orange, with a halo of white aroudn the edges. I loved it!
