There are actually quite a few other socialist parties, too. And yes, I certainly agree that the SPUSA and the CPUSA should band together - at least form an alliance, if not merge outright.

She walked away in disgust/ignorance actually.  As for voting for the Greens or Socialists, neither made it to my state's ballot.  So I ended up going with the opposite end of the left spectrum, Libertarians.  Capitalists who believe in non-intervention foreign policies and lack of censorship.
